In an effort to combat Uber's growing popularity in cities across the country, seven cab companies have come together to create a new website that includes information about taxi services.
The website, entitled 'Taxi Truths', includes information about taxi companies in Ottawa, Calgary, Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver.

Emergency and Protective Services General Manager Susan Jones says the city continues to target Uber drivers, with the most recent enforcement blitz last Thursday night at the Canadian Tire Centre.
"Through our investigation we were able to determine that there were three drivers driving under the Uber umbrella and each of these drivers, of course, received fines of about $845 each," she told CFRA's Rick Gibbons on Monday afternoon.
