OTTAWA — Almost seven months after the fatal crash between an OC Transpo bus and a Via Rail train, the City of Ottawa reported back on several aspects of transit safety Wednesday.
A number of observations from the public and the federal Transportation Safety Board — which continues to probe the crash that killed six — prompted the city to examine aspects of transit in Ottawa. Five updates went to the transit commission:
