People in some low-lying areas along the Rideau River will wake up Wednesday to
find the churning waters have risen again, surging over roads and threatening
basements. But the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority predicts they'll then
start dropping and that an end is finally in sight for what's been an unusually
late, long and unpredictable spring freshet. via
