OTTAWA — Upgrades and weather sealing at one of Carleton University’s buildings are expected to result in annual savings of $120,000 as the university rolls out a larger strategy aimed at reducing energy and water use as well as waste.
The university cut 242 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions from its Robertson Hall administrative building last year through weather sealing and by upgrading water fixtures, heating, lighting, ventilation and air conditioning, it announced Monday.
