The roadway has been patched but questions still linger around a massive
sinkhole that opened up on Waller St., directly above excavation work being done
on an LRT tunnel. Deputy city manager Nancy Schepers said Friday the City is
still looking into the "root cause" of the collapse, which started late Thursday
when excavation crews noticed dirt pouring down from above. via
