They buzz, they bite and they drive us all nuts - mosquitoes.
But whose responsibility is it when they get out of control? A group of Kanata residents are hoping that the city along with Ottawa Public Health will help get rid of the pests.
People who live in the newly development subdivisions around the Kizell Pond area say that the mosquitoes are so bad that many of them are forced to stay indoor to avoid them and they have started a petition to ask that the city intervene.

After being closed for repairs for over two weeks, a popular portion of the Ottawa River Pathway reopened on Saturday.
The section behind the Supreme Court of Canada was closed on June 16th so that maintenance work could be done on the path.
The work included removing loose rocks and installing bolts along the cliff wall
