One city councillor says complaints about overnight light rail construction noise have subsided in his ward.

Rideau-Vanier Councillor Mathieu Fleury says there hasn't been an ordered change to cause that decrease, but says work may become quieter as it progresses.

"Perhaps the loudest and busiest evenings are passed," he said. "And now we can work on some very minor work that would be needed to the jersey barrier connecting the Nicholas off-ramp."
