New safety measures for cyclist have been installed on laurier avenue but it's not being received well by some residents.
A new stop sign has replaced the yield sign for commuters merging onto laurier, and flexi-posts have been installed to reduce the risk of contact between cars and bikes.
The new safety measures are causing frustrations for some, with one twitter user calling it 'terrible,' saying they've witnessed more close calls with bikers being hit by cars than what it was originally.
