Use big red O across the entire Transpo network, consultant suggests

Big Os should be spread across the OC Transpo network to tell people that, no matter whether it’s bus or train, they’ll get the same awesome transit service when they see the cherry-red beacon.

That was the advice last year from a consultant hired by Transpo to recommend a new navigation strategy before the LRT era begins in Ottawa.

Transpo introduced the big red O last fall as the unifying symbol of the O-Train system after receiving advice from Entro Communications on wayfinding and signage.
