Which of Ottawa’s neighbourhoods has the worst snow removal?
OK, hands down everybody, and stop screaming — you can’t all have baddest banks on the planet. But The Glebe, surely, has to be among the worst.
We’re standing with Stephanie ter Veen, 46, and her daughter Francesca, 10, outside First Avenue Public School — and we’re standing pretty much in a puddle, this being the state of sidewalks in a January thaw, with a steady overnight rain. (Honestly, there were moms and strollers, lacking appropriate scuba gear, taking up the middle of side streets to avoid ferrying sidewalk lakes.)
