We’re complaining as much as ever, just about different things.
The bylaw department’s 2015 annual report shows spikes in calls about licensing, signs and zoning, while animal and noise complaints have dropped steeply over the past fives years.
Bylaw chief Roger Chapman said the reduced noise is thanks to being proactive in student-dense neighbourhoods.
