Nearly three weeks after a massive sinkhole swallowed up a portion of Rideau St. several roads have re-opened. Vehicles and cyclists can now turn left onto Sussex from Rideau St.

Elgin St. northbound is re-open from Albert to Rideau streets. Eastbound Wellington is open once again from Elgin to Rideau. The closure northbound on Colonel By remains.

As well most sidewalks along Rideau have re-opened to Pedestrians. Monday afternoon construction crews removed the gates along Rideau St. and opened the crosswalk at William St. on Rideau.
