Re : The problem with bike-helmet laws Like writer Jonathan McLeod, I look
forward to seeing more people use their bicycle to get around the city. Unlike
him, I would like to see them to wear helmets. Most people will never see the
life-saving properties of their helmet put to the test. I did. I got a finger
joint destroyed and my collarbone broken, but it’s the helmet that got gouged by
gravel, not my skull. My trusty jet-black helmet was the difference between six
weeks in a sling and a lifetime of brain injury rehab. via
