Fierce, dirty and feathered – Ottawa staff are struggling to deal with an
epidemic of geese in the city’s parks and waterfront. The city has considered
dogs, lasers, pyrotechnics, drones and sterilization, but noted that the geese
are “highly adaptable and will grow accustomed to most strategies within a few
days or weeks.” via
