City won’t oil goose eggs — it plans to scramble them instead

Ottawa officials confirmed late Monday that their contractor has already carried out a plan to prevent some of the city’s Canada goose eggs from hatching. The contractor hasn’t used the common method of oiling the eggs to cut off oxygen from the embryo, but rather shook them vigorously.
