The City of Ottawa held its hazardous waste depot on Sunday at 251 Sir Frederick
Banting Driveway in Tunney’s Pasture. Among the items that were accepted for
disposal were aerosol containers, automotive and house batteries, propane
cylinders, fluorescent bulbs/tubes, fire extinguishers, fertilizers and
pesticides, needles and syringes, pharmaceuticals, paints and coatings and pool
chemicals. via
