The city of Ottawa will host a one-day hazardous waste depot Sunday from 8 a.m.
to 4 p.m. at 251 Sir Frederick Banting Driveway in Tunney’s Pasture. Among the
items that will be accepted for disposal are aerosol containers, automotive and
ghouse batteries, propane cylinders, fluorescent bulbs/tubes, fire
extinguishers, fertilizers and pesticides, needles and syringes,
pharmaceuticals, paints and coatings and pool chemicals. via
