It’s easy to see why councillors don’t want to vote against a church. And they
didn’t. At the planning committee meeting earlier this week, councillors
somewhat reluctantly approved Notre Dame Cathedral’s fourth application for a
temporary parking lot that was first established in 1992. It takes a significant
leap of faith to consider 23 years as temporary. via
