The city has secured $300,000 in a settlement with Plasco Energy Group to
decommission the waste-to-energy company’s demonstration facility on Trail Road.
The settlement was finalized on April 29, according to a memo sent by city
solicitor Rick O’Connor to council. “This will confirm that the city has now
reached a settlement with Plasco and the Bank of Nova Scotia,” he said in the
memo. via
