Patios could be coming to parking spaces in front of select restaurants downtown
this summer. As city council voted to keep patios on Elgin Street, city staff
were already at work, planning a pilot project to build patios on the street in
a couple neighbourhoods rather than sidewalks to free up space for pedestrians,
