Horse’s injuries inconsistent with animal attack, expert says

The horse injured last week on the Greenbelt near Woodroffe Avenue might not have been attacked by another animal, a wildlife expert says. Brent Patterson, a research scientist with Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, said Monday the horse’s injuries, based on photos he examined, were not consistent with an attack by the three likely suspects in that area — coyotes, cougars and bobcats. via Horse’s injuries inconsistent with animal attack, expert says | Ottawa Citizen.
