Getting to Ottawa’s airport by car may someday take less time. The city wants
the public’s feedback to help develop recommendations for widening the Airport
Parkway between Brookfield Road and the Macdonald-Cartier International Airport,
and also for widening nearby Lester Road from the Airport Parkway east to Bank
Street. The first of three public open houses to review and discuss the project
with residents and solicit comments will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 6 to
8:30 p.m., at the Jim Durrell Recreation Centre, 1265 Walkley Rd. via
