The National Capital Commission now charges those outdoor enthusiasts who walk
the trails of Gatineau Park in snowshoes, but the costs haven't curbed
enthusiasm. The NCC charges adults $50 for the winter, or $40 if the pass is
purchased before Dec. 16, or $7 per day if you choose to pay that way. A family
pass costs $145, or $17 per day. via
