The First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa really put the NIMBY in NIMBYism this
week when it announced it is opposing the city’s preferred western light-rail
route and wants the planned station for the corner of Cleary Avenue and Richmond
Road in Westboro. But the church would still like a station close enough for its
members to walk to. Just not, you know, in its own backyard. via
