Environment Canada lifts extreme cold warning

The extreme cold warning for the city of Ottawa has been lifted. Environment Canada lifted the warning Thursday morning after about 24 hours. Temperatures hit -23.9 C at around 9 a.m. Thursday morning but are expected to rise to a more seasonable high of -11 C through the day.
