Five snowmobilers are lucky to have escaped with their lives on New Year's Day
following two separate snowmobile accidents in Ontario – one in Penetanguishene
Bay, the other in Jack Lake near Peterborough, OPP say. Now, the two snowmobiles
sitting at the bottom of the lakes are reminders of the dangers of snowmobiling
on iced-over lakes. And the fact that the drivers and passengers were able to
get out alive is astonishing, the OPP said in a press release. via
