Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Ottawa area,
warning of rain and strong winds on Sunday night and Monday, with 15 to 30
millimetres of rain expected to fall over the next few days. According to the
statement, a “rapidly intensifying disturbance brewing in Kansas is setting its
sights on Ontario,” which will track toward Lake Michigan Sunday night and cross
Northeastern Ontario on Monday. via
