Re: Critics say pilot project makes Elgin ‘unwalkable,’ Nov. 14. Please don’t
tell me that the vibrant patio scene on Elgin Street is going to be quashed
because of about 24 email complaints. I walked down Elgin Street and sat on its
patios several times this summer and thoroughly enjoyed the energy, the
people-watching and the hubbub that belies Ottawa’s reputation as Dullsville.
