The sign on a temporary fence erected at end of Cahill Drive West to keep people out of the adjacent construction site says the project will be completed by December 2014. Given all the delays and drama that have surrounded the construction of the Airport Parkway pedestrian and cycling bridge, you’d forgive people if they were hedging their bets. The project is years behind schedule, nearly $5 million over-budget and the basis of the city’s lawsuit against the original designer. via At last!
