Increasing penalties for “bandit taxis” -- a term the City of Ottawa has slapped
on ride-sharing company Uber -- is still under consideration by Ontario’s
transportation minister. “I will continue to examine whether there are
appropriate, additional measures that could be undertaken to deter the operation
