Ecology Ottawa and the Council of Canadians are among a number of groups that
plan to attend Tuesday’s open house meeting in Kemptville on the the proposed
$12-billion Energy East pipeline, which would cut through the south end of
Ottawa and through North Grenville. The two groups and others plan to canvas
outside the meeting from 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the North Grenville Municipal
Centre, 285 County Road 44, to talk about environmental and health risks that
could be posed by the pipeline project should it be approved. via
