Ecology Ottawa and the Council of Canadians are among a number of groups that plan to attend Tuesday’s open house meeting in Kemptville on the the proposed $12-billion Energy East pipeline, which would cut through the south end of Ottawa and through North Grenville. The two groups and others plan to canvas outside the meeting from 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, 285 County Road 44, to talk about environmental and health risks that could be posed by the pipeline project should it be approved. via Opponents prepare to attend Energy East pipeline Open House Tuesday | Ottawa Citizen.
