It slipped by with barely a word. A man few of us had heard of was relieved of a
job many of us didn’t know existed.It was Nov. 3 that the businesses on the
Sparks Street mall received an email notifying them that Les Gagne would no
longer be the executive director of the Sparks Street BIA and the Sparks Street
Mall Authority. The man who has had the greatest say in shaping Sparks Street
