A developer is asking for two extra storeys to transform a vacant commercial
building on Beechwood Avenue into a six-storey structure that would feature
street-level retail and condos on top. Claridge Homes wants the most generous
interpretation of a number of different sets of planning rules that all cover
the same properties at 89, 91, 97 and 99 Beechwood, at Champlain Avenue, an
irregularly-shaped site currently occupied by a two-storey building and parking
lot in the heart of Beechwood Village. via
