By David Reevely, Ottawa Citizen, October 20, 2014 Kitchissippi eats its city
councillors. Linda Davis, Shawn Little, Christine Leadman. And maybe now
Katherine Hobbs.

It’s development fights that do it. The neighbourhoods west of downtown are hot,
they’ve kept up an unbelievable pace of change and redevelopment for years,
they’re full of traffic and soon to be served by light rail. Hobbs, as has
happened to each of her predecessors, is under attack for not doing enough to
stop it all, or at least channel all the change into something beloved by the
tens of thousands of people who already live in Hintonburg, Wellington West,
Westboro, Highland Park. via
