City ‘obliged’ to make O-Train colours more distinguishable if possible: Watson

The city is “obliged” to make O-Train map colours more distinguishable for people with colour-blindness if it’s possible, Jim Watson said when asked about the tentative red and green combination. The colours have caused concerns because the combination is difficult for people with red-green colour blindness to distinguish. A tentative map of the O-Train system showed earlier this month at transit commission showed the east-west Confederation line being marked by red, and the existing north-south Trillium line in green. via City ‘obliged’ to make O-Train colours more distinguishable if possible: Watson | Ottawa Citizen.
