Uber ride-sharing program seeks Ottawa drivers

The service hasn’t secured a licence to operate in the nation’s capital, but officials from Uber will be setting up shop at the Westin in downtown Ottawa over the next three days to sign up interested drivers. The company, which offers an alternative service to taxi cabs, took a similar path when setting up in Toronto earlier this year.
