A new deal to install solar panels on municipal buildings means revenue
projections won't be as bright for city.Council on Wednesday approved a request
from Energy Ottawa to pay 20 cents per square foot to lease rooftop space for
the panels. It's half the cost of what the organization agreed to pay in 2011
when the initiative was announced. via
