Ontario’s Ministry of the Environment received a report Tuesday of suspected
blue-green algae on Upper Rideau Lake’s north shore. The report came from
cottager Matt Turner, who sent the Citizen pictures of what he described as
blue-green algae taken during a paddle Tuesday along the lake’s north shore.
“Drop anything in the water and it’s like dropping something into paint,” Turner
said in an email. via
