Orgaworld is challenging an arbitrator’s decision in favour of the City of
Ottawa in its years-long dispute with the organic waste company. The commercial
arbitrator last month dismissed the company’s $1.3-million claim against the
city. The arbitrator also ruled that leaf and yard waste could be included in
the city’s green-bin program, ending a situation in which taxpayers were paying
twice to have some waste processed. via
