Car is still king for many Ottawans despite City spending on other modes of trav

Traffic jams and gas prices be damned! The almighty car is still king of the road and drivers continue to find money in their household budgets to splurge on a sweet ride. According to Statistics Canada, more than 1.7 million new vehicles rolled off lots across the country in 2013, a 3% increase from 2012. The larger gains happened for commercial vehicles, while passenger vehicles also saw a small bump. via Car is still king for many Ottawans despite City spending on other modes of trav.
