Re: Ottawa police plan more bike blitzes, July 3. I was pleased to see that the
Ottawa police are turning their attention to traffic violations by cyclists. As
a pedestrian who often encounters reckless cyclists on the sidewalk, I hope that
this will include some enforcement of the bylaw prohibiting riding on sidewalks,
which in my experience occurs even on streets with bike lanes. via
