The Share the Road Cycling Coalition, SRCC an Ontario-based non-profit
organization that promotes cycling as a mode of transportation and recreation
through municipal and provincial advocacy, is partnering with Trips for Kids
Ottawa to host a community bike ride in memory of ‘Super Mario’ Mario Théoret.
Théoret was a local cyclist who died in a collision with a truck while cycling
on Hunt Club at Merivale Road in October 2013. Organizers are inviting
Ottawa-area residents to register for the event before May 31 early bird
deadline. via
