A special weather statement has been issued by Environment Canada for parts of
Eastern Ontario and Gatineau warning that a band of showers and isolated
thunderstorms will move through the region today bringing heavy downpours.
Rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm are likely and higher amounts are possible
depending on the number of thunderstorms that track through.Severe thunderstorm
watches or warnings may be issued if conditions are favourable. via
