Ottawa eyes hotbox fix for pothole problem

The city’s public works department wants to do more hot boxing with its vehicles, but don’t get the wrong idea— the only pot involved will be potholes. The department needs up to $360,000 of taxpayers’ money to buy seven new “hot boxes” which are used to heat asphalt to keep up with the “increased demand” in fixing the city’s potholes, according to a report from deputy city manager Steve Kanellakos. via Ottawa eyes hotbox fix for pothole problem | Metro.
