Two people suffered minor injuries after their car slammed into a moose Thursday
night on Highway 417, near Boundary Road, according to Ottawa Fire Services.
Firefighters arrived on scene shortly after 9:45 p.m. and found one vehicle off
the road in trees and a moose on the side of the road. Early reports suggested
the driver may have been trapped, but did not need to be extricated from the
vehicle. via
