The LRT tunnelling machine that started inching east from LeBreton Flats last
November has almost dug half of a kilometre through downtown Ottawa. Jawbreaker
(Grade 4 students named the tunnelling machines) has travelled about 441 m and
has arrived under at the future Lyon station at Queen St. and Lyon St. The
"roadheader" machine is carving out the station cavern. via
