Ottawa's pitbull laws are all bark and no bite. Coun. Mark Taylor, who chairs
the city's protective services committee, says the approach locally is
"reactive, not proactive." In other words, despite laws prohibiting pitbulls in
Ontario, nobody goes looking for them -- or similar breeds also banned -- in an
attempt to eradicate them. via
