A new, not-for-profit organization is launching what is being dubbed as Canada’s
first eco district in Ottawa’s downtown core to make it more attractive,
walkable, and sustainable. The Ontario Trillium Foundation announced Tuesday it
will provide the Ottawa Centre EcoDistrict with a $199,600 grant to be spread
out over three years to help get the project started. via
