Bernard Zeisig's sunny Saturday afternoon paddle took him down flooded Rideau
River Dr. and past submerged park benches in Windsor Park to land his kayak on
his deck, water lapping his garden fence. His sump pump was working overtime but
the water hadn't neared the level of 2008 when he was able to paddle up his
driveway on Belmont Ave. in Old Ottawa South. via
